Making a difference

It's well known that the charity sector attracts kind-hearted and compassionate people, who want to make a difference to other people's lives. These are the people you'll find at Hearing Dogs, who really do believe that "we make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." Perhaps you do too.

Beautiful surroundings

Our headquarters are in rural Buckinghamshire and Yorkshire in beautiful countryside locations. There is no shortage of fresh air and great dog walks nearby at either site!  We hold a lot of fun events at our Buckinghamshire site nestled in the Chiltern Hills, where we also have an incredibly popular restaurant called The Grange.

Working with amazing dogs

Our trainers are living the dream: they've always known they wanted to work with dogs, and have pursued this as a career from an early age. However, everyone gets to join in the dog-related fun! This is because we have dogs in every office, some of them demo dogs, others applicant assessment dogs, others at various stages in their training. What was that? A little nudge from a puppy that wants its ears played with? Or some tickle-tums? Oh, go on then, the spreadsheet can wait five minutes...

Working with amazing people

If you come to Hearing Dogs, you'll be part of a committed team. Everyone helps everyone. Nothing is too much trouble. You'll find yourself saying 'Good morning' to people you've never met, and making new friends for life. You'll look forward to every day, helping deaf people to live well with hearing loss. There is a kind of magic at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, and you'll feel it if you come here too.

What’s more, we also have a comprehensive benefits package in place to recognise the value that our amazing staff bring to our charity.

What are you waiting for? Don't paws for thought!
