Our vision

At Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, we rebuild connection, companionship, and confidence through trained hearing dogs, and practical and emotional support services; transforming the lives of people who are deaf or have hearing loss.

At Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, we are passionate about our work: creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and their deaf recipients, and offering a range of practical and emotional support services.  We employ a wide range of staff (and their four-legged friends!) to help us succeed. We offer a professional and fun working environment, and have two training centres based in the beautiful surroundings of the Chiltern Hills and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

In partnership with AAW

Our ambitious new income generation strategy relies on Hearing Dogs for Deaf People getting the best team together possible. And that’s why we have chosen to partner with specialist fundraising leadership and search consultancy the AAW Group.

AAW’s deep sector knowledge and consultancy-led approach to recruitment ensures that they can truly understand which people will best fit our roles. For more information about AAW’s Executive Search, Shortlisting or Interim recruitment services, see below.

  • “AAW are outstanding. They ensured we had a singularly impressive range of quality candidates. They designed a discerning process for selection, they provided intelligent and insightful support, they really took time to understand our organisation, culture and as a result helped us get the ’fit’ right. Working people who themselves have been in senior fundraising roles makes such a difference."
